in this image a student girl and boy is debating ,Hajvery university arranged Debating Contest 2010 in two languages, English and Urdu, on Thursday October 21, 2010. After much anticipation, excitement and preparation Thirty students from all 6 Faculties, brought their scripts to life, to the audience in the seminar hall at Hajveri University Euro Campus. There were 15 students in each Language category, English and Urdu. The themes of the debates were: English: ‘Is widespread Advertising good for the society?’ and, ‘Each Fresh crises is a Blessing in disguise.’ . Whereas in Urdu ‘Jhoot Kamyabi ka Zeena hai’ and ‘ Kaal ke Talib-e-ilm, Aaj ke Talib-e-ilm se Ziyada Zaheen hai. ’ The 4 member jury included Dr. Naeem Afridi- Gold Medalist in Debating, and Dean School of Engineering & CS at HU, Prof. Nazar Abbas (Administrator), who also arranged and coordinated the debates and students’ efforts and two other panelists. The winning students were awarded cash prizes, whereas all students received certificates of participation.
