Karachi University legend student Rashid Minhas Shaheed
Rashid Minhas shaheed belonged to a famous Minhas clan (qabeela or zaat) of Rajput family. Rashid Minhas was born on February 17, 1951 in Karachi. He belonged to a family that had settled in Gurdaspur from disputed teroority beatween india and pakistan Jammu and Kashmir. After the becoming of Pakistan the family migrated to Pakistan and lived near Sialkot district. Rashid spent his early childhood in historical city Lahore. after this his family shifted to military city Rawalpindi. Rashid had his early education from SaintMarry Academy Rawalpindi. Minhas was found of pakistan aviation history and technology. He had hobby to collected different types models of war aircraft and jets. He studied from Saint Mary Academy, Lalazar and completed his O and A levels at the age of eighteen. after this he joined Karachi University where he studied pakistan and world Military history and Aviation history.karachi university have proud and honour for teaching of brave pakistani shaheed man rashid minhas.
