AIOU Issues Schedule For Commencement Of Online Classes

Allama Iqbal Open has issued the schedule for the commencement of online classes of MSc/BS degree programs offered in the autumn semester of 2021. According to the schedule provided by the university, the classes will be commenced from 10th October 2021 and will continue till 3rd January 2021. Moreover, the online classes for M.Phil and Ph.D. degree programs have already started on 16th September 2021 and will continue till 3rd January 2021. All the candidates are directed to check the schedule and attend the classes according to it. 

The AIOU has sent the usernames and passwords to the students through the SMS so that in case of any confusion the students the contact the respective regional offices. According to the directives issued by Prof Dr. Zia Ul-Qayyum, VC, all the academic, servicing, and administrative departments are following the schedule provided by the university for the completion of the academic session. 

Allama Iqbal Open University is also inviting applications from faculty members and students for internal funded research projects. The main purpose is to encourage the candidates so that they can conduct research and play an important role in the development of the nation. The interested candidates can apply till 29th October 2021 with their research proposals. The candidates should have teaching and research experience not less than three years. Contractual employees are also eligible to apply for this research opportunity. The faculty members who do not have the required eligibility criteria can also apply for this grant by collaborating with those candidates who meet the mentioned eligibility criterion. The candidates are required to submit the online application form along with the required documents. The deadline for the submission of the application form will not be extended so the candidates have to submit the application form on time. The late submitted application forms will not be considered in any case. The English translation of research proposals submitted in Urdu is compulsory for the faculty members of the Urdu and  Pakistani Languages departments.
