Education Ministry To Introduce Blended E-Learning For Students

The education ministry has announced to introduce blended E-learning for the students. The concerned officials have taken this decision to take the initiative by using the technology. Earlier the Prime minister of Pakistan had also directed the education ministry to use the technology in education and in this regard, the federal minister for education and professional training has taken the step and an agreement has been signed between the Federal Directorate of Education, Knowledge Platform, Tele Taleem, and Robotics Mea so that the best educational opportunities can be provided to all the students. 

Blended E-Learning

Blended E-learning is known to be an approach to education that includes online education materials and traditional classroom learning methods. In the proposed research project of blended learning, various technologies will be used to know about the effectiveness of these technologies on the learning of all the students. The federal education minister, Shafqat Mahmood has announced that blended e-learning is the future and with the spread of the coronavirus pandemic many educational institutes have been shifted to the online mode of education as the students could not attend the physical classes. The minister further added that by introducing this type of learning the students will able to continue their academic activities without any disruption. The main purpose is to assist the students and teachers and currently, the project is in process and its result will be announced soon so that the project will be implemented at the national level. 

STEM Education

Shafqat Mahmood has said that STEM education is also part of this initiative and is also known as one of the parameters to determine the quality of education in public or private sector schools. It has been added that the government is struggling hard and for this purpose, the authorities are determined to introduce a single national curriculum to incorporate the STEM subjects in the devised curriculum for the students. By using the various technologies the quality of the education will be improved and to offer better exposure the discovery innovation labs will also be made in the schools. According to the education ministry, the project of blended e-learning will be executed in August 2021. In the initial phase, 80 classrooms will be updated with the technology.
