Karachi University Issues Submission Schedule of Admission Forms For Reserved Seats

Karachi University has announced the schedule for the submission of the online admission forms in the various degree programs. The applications are invited for the reserved seats in the offered morning programs 2021. Every year the university announces the admission for the candidates belonging to the various provinces in which candidates apply to secure the admission. The reserved seats are announced for the applicants belonging to various categories such as armed forces, sports, university of Karachi employees, special persons, and offspring of lawyers. 

The candidates of the Northern areas, rural Sindh, Baluchistan, FATA, and Azad Jammu Kashmir are eligible to apply for the reserved seats. Furthermore, it is informed to the candidates that they must possess the domicile of mentioned areas above for the selection. The KU Directorate of Admissions Dr. Saima Akhtar has directed the applicants that they have to submit the online application form provided by the university. The scanned copies of the required documents such as academic certificates, domicile, CNIC, and photographs should be submitted along with the application form. The processing fee is Rs. 2,000 which must be deposited before the deadline. The last date to apply for the submission of the online application forms is 24th December 2020. 

Earlier the Karachi University had conducted the entry tests for admission in the bachelor's and the master’s degree programs. Thousands of students were registered to appear in the test but only a few of them appeared in the entrance exam. The result of the test has not been announced yet by the affiliated authorities as they are compiling the result. Moreover, the varsity will conduct the special entry test for the students that tested positive for the coronavirus. The university will soon announce the date of the special entry test so the students are advised to be prepared for the entrance exam.
