FBISE, commonly known as Federal board, is an educational board that conducts 9th class exams in Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and the cantonments/garrisons of Pakistan. This board was established in Islamabad in 1975. Since then, the board has the responsibility of issuing the 9th class roll no slip, managing exam centers, and providing results on time. Students prepare all year long to appear in these exams. At the end of the year, 9th class roll no slips enable the students to appear in the exams.
