By the Higher Education Department, Sahiwal Board is an autonomous body was established on 15 June 2012. Before its emergence, Sahiwal and Pakpattan operated under the supervision of BISE Multan. Sahiwal Board is responsible for taking exams in Okara, Vehari and Pakpattan Districts. Both public and private institutions in these districts are affiliated with Sahiwal Board. Sahiwal Board also ensures the provision of medals, scholarships, and awards as well as laptops to deserving students.
