Educations Minister Denies All The Rumors Regarding The Closure of Educational Institutes
The Federal education minister, Shafqat Mahmood has denied all the rumors and announced that all the private and the public schools will remain open from 15th October. The students will take the classes as per the schedule provided. This fake news emerged in the wake of the concerns of the second wave of the coronavirus but there is no truth in it. He furthermore elaborated that till now only 1% infection rate has been recorded in the educational institutes. The lockdown was enforced in March and the educational institutes remain closed for the six months. In September, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) allowed to resume the academic activities by taking all the precautionary measures.

The education minister of Punjab has also tweeted about the fake news circulating about the closure of the educational institute. He rejected such type of news and clarified that the schools will remain open and the authorities have not taken any decision to close the institutes from 15th October. Furthermore, he also directed the students and the teachers to follow the SOPs devised to minimize the risk of infection caused by the coronavirus.
