FBISE Announces the HSSC Special Exams Result 2020

The federal board of intermediate and secondary education has announced the result of the intermediate special exams 2020. The result was declared on 28th November 2020 for the registered private and regular students of the different study groups such as humanities, pre-medical, and pre-engineering. The students that had appeared in the exams can get the result by entering their roll number on the online search bar given by the FBISE, Moreover the result has been sent to the students on the mobile numbers that they had provided at the registration form. The result cards have also been dispatched to the listed email to the candidates.

The exams were held in October-November for the candidates that failed in more than 40% of subjects or wanted to improve their grades. According to the board officials, 6,279 regular, as well as private students were registered for the exams and the overall pass percentage of all the candidates was 31.9%. After the announcement of the result, the board declared that the students who wish to improve their marks can reappear in the papers within a year of the result declaration. The board has notified that the schedule of the submission of admission forms for students of intermediate annual exams 2021 will be announced next month. The candidates have to follow the schedule to appear in the HSSC exams. As per the sources, the two cases were reported of using unfair means during solving the exams and the matter is under discussion. The authorities will opt the judicious procedure to take the final decision about this issue. 

Rechecking of Papers

The students who are not satisfied with their results or want to see the paper can avail the rechecking facility provided by the federal board of intermediate and secondary education. The last date to apply for the rechecking application is 17th December 2020 so the candidates are advised to apply before the due date.
