HEC Announces Phase-II of Interim Placement of Fresh PhDs (IPFP)

The higher education commission of Pakistan has announced phase-II of interim placement of fresh PhDs (IPFP). The interested candidates can check the requirements and apply to the offered program accordingly. Applications are invited from the eligible candidates that want to take the benefit from this opportunity announced by the HEC. It is mandatory for the candidates to fulfill the mentioned eligibility criteria. This project is launched by the higher education commission so that the candidates can get better exposure to their affiliated field before joining the job market. Through this program, the candidate will get the various benefits that include the national faculty development program, Continuous professional development, One-year placement, and host institutions, Mentorship, Monetary benefits, and Startup research grant program

•The Pakistani and AJK nationals are eligible to apply for this program.

•The maximum age limit for the applicants is 40 years. 

•The applicant must be the holder of a Ph.D. degree from the HEC recognized institute or the foreign institute.

•The candidate must have at least two research publications in the HEC recognized journals.

•The applicants should be unemployed and in the case of irregular positions, the candidates have to leave that post after the selection for the IPFP program. 

•The candidates have to submit the online application form through the HEC web portal. 

•The scanned copies of the attested Ph.D. degree and other relevant documents must be attached with the application form.

•The candidates have to submit the application processing fee of Rs. 3000/- in any branch of Habib bank limited. 

•The application processing fee is non-refundable.

•The candidates have also to submit the hard copy of the application form and original paid challan.

•The selection test for the candidates will be conducted on 13th April 2021.

•It is mandatory for the candidates to score at least 50% on the pre-assessment test. 

•The qualified candidates have to complete the NFDP program. 

•In the case of any fraud, the HEC holds the administrative power to cancel the application form of the candidates.

•The candidates are notified that the previously submitted application forms will not be considered by HEC.

•The last date to apply for the HEC Phase-II of Interim Placement of Fresh PhDs is 31st March 2021.
