Lahore Board To Offer Scholarships To Deserving Students

Lahore board of intermediate and secondary education has declared to offer the scholarships to the deserving students. The scholarships have been announced for the students who have passed the intermediate examination. The eligible candidates will be selected by the board authorities for the national talent scholarships. The eligibility criterion has been provided for each study group of the HSSC annual exams. The candidates belonging to the pre-engineering, pre-medical, general science, arts, and the other study groups are eligible to apply. The main aim is to facilitate the students for the standard development of education. The candidates that meet the required eligibility criteria are highly encouraged to avail this opportunity. 

It is informed to the candidates that the board will award the scholarships on the basis of merit. To determine the eligibility of the candidates a committee will be formed that will make the final decisions regarding the selection of the candidates for the various study groups. The merit for the announced scholarships varies for every study group. The merit for the pre-medical group is 1058, the merit for the pre-engineering group is 1044, the merit for the general science group is 944, the merit for the arts group is 960 and for the merit for other study groups of the intermediate, the required merit is 903. After the selection, the candidates will be notified about the details. 

Lahore board of intermediate and secondary education had earlier announced the admission schedule of the HSC part I exams 2020. The SSC supply exam result of the Lahore board was declared on 15th December and afterward, the board issued the registration guidelines for the candidates. The students have to submit the online application form by the 15th of January. After the due date, the candidates are required to pay the late fee to process the admission form. So the candidates are advised to follow the admission schedule provided by the Lahore board.
