PMC To Revise The Admission Schedule For Public & Private Medical And Dental Colleges

Pakistan medical commission has announced to revise the admission schedule for the medical and dental colleges. It is notified that the result of the A-level will be declared on 11th January so by considering this fact the commission has decided to extend the deadline for the submission of the admission forms beyond 11th January 2021. As per the notification, the last date for admission into the public and private medical & dental colleges has been extended and the students have to submit the admissions forms according to the new schedule provided to them. 

The A-level exams could not be conducted as per the announced schedule due to the spread of the COVID-19. Likewise the decision of the provincial government, Cambridge international had also promoted the students without the exams. But the candidates were not satisfied with the grades awarded to them. So in response to the complaints received by the Pakistani students Cambridge assessment international education had issued the statement to review the result. Now the updated result will be announced in January and the candidates with their A-level results can apply to enroll in the MBBS and BDS degree programs offered by the public and the private medical colleges.

 

The national MDCAT was conducted in the month of November and the authorities had announced the MDCAT 2020 result on 16th December. The updated result of the entrance exam was provided a day after. Now after the result declaration, the candidates can apply in the medical institutes. The Pakistan medical commission had earlier announced that the students can apply through the national admission system to get admission in the PMC recognized private medical and dental colleges till 8th January 2021. But due to the delay in the A-level result announcement, the PMC officials have informed to extend the date. The new schedule for the admissions will be announced soon.
