Punjab Education Department Is Set To Introduce New Ways To Teach English
Punjab Education Department has announced to introduce the new ways to teach English. In this regard, the students, as well as the teachers, will be trained by using innovative methods so that they can have a strong grip on the English language. The education department has taken various initiatives to facilitate the students and now this initiative has been taken so that the candidates can make the progression at the national and international level by having a strong command of the English language besides the national language.
Statement of Murad Raas
The Punjab education minister, Murad Raas took his Twitter and makes this announcement that after the meeting with the British council it has been decided to train the teachers at the Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development Punjab (QAED). According to the education minister, the authorities are currently working on this plan, and once all is decided the students and teachers will be informed about it. The main purpose is to utilize new and creative ways to guide the teachers to educate the students.
STEM Competition
Earlier the school education department had announced the STEM competition across Punjab to promote hands-on learning and interest among the students. The students of the government elementary and high schools were eligible to participate in the competition by submitting the videos to their respective focal persons. The candidates had to make the models in on the given topics of various themes that include energy, agriculture, calculus, viruses, physical sciences, and environment to win the title of super scientists. According to the data reported by the SED, the authorities have received more than 18,000 video entries from across the province on numerous themes for our 1st STEM Competition. Currently, the result of the competition is under composition and it will be declared soon for the candidates.
