UET Announces Registration Schedule of ECAT 2021

University of engineering and technology, Lahore has announced the registration schedule of ECAT 2021. The candidates who intend to appear in the engineering college admission test are notified to check the issued schedule and submit the application form. UET holds the combined entry test every year for the candidates who want to take admission in the BSc engineering and BSc engineering & technology program in Punjab. The candidates can choose the test centers and information regarding the commencement of the test will be communicated to the students before the test. 

A 15-minute orientation session will be held on 21st and 22nd May 2021 in the assigned campuses of the virtual university. University of engineering and technology will conduct the orientation to familiarize the students with the computer-based test. However, the entry test will be conducted from 24th May to 27th May 2021 at the allocated time. There is no restriction on the candidates for appearing in the combined entry test. 

The candidates are required to get the token number from the designated HBL branches on the payment of Rs.1300/- from 12th April 2021 to 17th May 2021. The candidates have to generate the admit card online and the last date for data entry and the generation of admit cards is 18th May 2021. The test will be of the intermediate level would be offered in the various combinations such as Physics, Mathematics, English & Chemistry; Physics, Mathematics, English & Computer Science; Physics, Mathematics, English & Statistics and Physics, Chemistry, English, and Biology. DAE-qualified candidates can also appear in the test by selecting one of the offered combinations. The official result of the entry test will be declared on 31st May 2021. 

At the test center during the test, the candidates have to bring a computerized ID card, passport size photograph, and computerized domicile. The candidate missing the entry test at the allocated center will not be allowed to sit in the other center or any other time slot. The test is fully automated so no re-checking facility will be available for the candidates. The candidates preparing for the ECAT can also check the preparation material available at the campus.pk.
