AIOU Provides Final Opportunity To Candidates To Get Enrolled in MA/MSc Degree Programs

Allama Iqbal has offered admissions in the MA/MSc degree programs. The candidates are informed that the university has provided the final opportunity to the students to get admission to these programs. According to the university officials from the upcoming autumn semester 2021, the university will not announce admission in masters. The candidates who intend to apply in MA/MSc are required to submit the admission form before the due date. It is mandatory for the candidates to meet the required eligibility criteria in order to secure admission. 

The candidates can take admission in MA in various subjects such as Science, teacher education, education, special education, Islamic law, Urdu, history, Arabic, Islamic studies in the spring semester of 2021. Whereas the students can also get enrolled in MSc in the different subjects that include gender studies, economics, environmental design, mass communication, administrative sciences, sustainable environmental design, mass communication, forestry extension, sociology, and economics. According to the new policy of the higher education commission of Pakistan, no university will be allowed to offer admission in the two-year MA/MSc degree programs. Earlier the commission had announced to abolish the two-year BA/BSc and MA/MSc programs due to education quality concerns. The Allama Iqbal Open University will not offer admission after the spring semester of 2021. 

The university has also announced the admissions in the second semester of the spring semester of 2021. The interested candidates can submit the application forms by 25th March 2021. The application forms received after the due date will not be entertained by the authorities.
