HEC Issues Registration Schedule For Law Admission Test (LAT)

The higher education commission of Pakistan has issued the registration schedule for the law admission test. The candidates are informed to check the schedule and fulfill the admission requirements accordingly. Law admission test is held to select the eligible and potential candidates to get enrolled in the 5 year LLB undergraduate program. It is essential for the candidates to clear the LAT test to get admission in the public and private HEC/PBC recognized universities and the colleges affiliated with the public sector universities in compliance with the directives issued by the Honorable Supreme Court. 

LAT Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criterion to appear in the law admission test is mentioned below. 
•The candidates who have passed the higher school secondary certificate or equivalent study program can take the entrance test. 
•The candidates who have appeared in the final examination HSSC and awaiting results are eligible to appear in the test.

Test Pattern And Syllabus

For the convenience of the students, the test pattern and syllabus is provided to the students. The test will be based on the subjective and objective portion.

LAT Registration Process

•The candidates who intend to appear in the law admission test have to register themselves according to the instructions provided by the higher education commission of Pakistan. 
•The test fee is Rs.500/- that can be submitted in the branch of Habib bank limited and the bank draft and pay order will not be accepted. 
•The applicants have to submit the copy deposited fee challan to the HEC headquarters, Sector-8 Islamabad before the last date of registration.
•The candidates have to mention the CNIC number at the backside of the fee challan.  
•The LAT test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. 
•Applicants who register through the online registration portal of HEC will get the roll number slip a week before the conduction of the test. 
•The test will be held on 7th March 2021 and in the case of any change in the schedule the candidates will be informed about it.
•The details regarding the test schedule will be provided to the students via Email/SMS so the candidates are notified to mention the valid email and phone number while filling the application form. 
•A print of the roll number slip and valid CNIC will be required to enter the examination hall.
•The LAT test will be conducted in the major cities and the candidates can select the center according to their choice. 

Last Date For Registration
